XPS Viewer to View XPS/OXPS Files

Step 1: Download, install, and launch Kernel XPS Viewer on your system.

Step 2: From the home screen, click on the Add Source File icon to upload the file. You can also add XPS/OXPS files from the File tab.

Step 3: Select the file you need to view, i.e. XPS or OXPS. Tap on Browse to add files.

Note: Here we’ve chosen the XPS option. To search and add all XPS files automatically from the PC or selected folder, click Browse next to Search/Add file Across the PC.

Step 4: Locate and select the XPS files manually. You can select multiple XPS files at once. Once selected, click Open.

Step 5: Now, tap on Add Files to initiate the preview process.

Step 6: In just a flash, the selected XPS files will be listed. Tap on the listed files one by one and preview their entire content.

Note: You can also use the different options given under the Preview tab for XPS file management.

  • You can use the Theme Setting option from the View
  • Use the Zoom control button to preview the XPS file data.
  • Enter specific text in the ‘Type text to find’ box to search within the file.
  • Select the XPS data and copy it via the given button.

XPS Viewer Pro to View and Convert XPS/OXPS Files

Step 1: Download, install, and launch Kernel XPS Viewer on your system.

Step 2: From the home screen, tap on the Add Source File icon to upload the file.

Step 3: Select the file you need to view, i.e. XPS or OXPS. Tap on Browse to add files.

Note: Here we’ve chosen the XPS option. To search and add all XPS files automatically from the PC or selected folder, click Browse next to Search/Add file Across the PC.

Step 4: Locate and select the XPS files manually. You can select multiple XPS files at once. Once selected, click Open.

Step 5: Now, tap on Add Files to initiate the preview process.

Step 6: All XPS files will be listed. Just tap on a specific file and preview that. Once previewed, mark the files from the checkbox and click Convert.

Note: To enable the XPS/OXPS file conversion capability and printing option, activate the license using the credentials & product key. For that, go to the Help tab, tap on Activate License, then enter the credentials.

  • Print the XPS/OXPS file directly from the utility.
  • You can use the Theme Setting option from the View
  • Use the Zoom control button to preview the XPS file data.
  • Enter specific text in the ‘Type text to find’ box to search within the file.
  • Select the XPS data and copy it via the given button.

Step 7: Tap on Browse to provide the saving location for the resultant files.

Step 8: Navigate to the preferred folder/location in File Explorer and tap on Select Folder.

Step 9: Now choose the saving format from the Apply Conversion Type section. Also, apply a page filter if you need to convert specific pages. Click Start.

Note: Here, we’ve chosen Adobe Acrobat Format (PDF) and All Pages as filters.

Step 10: The XPS conversion process will start. Wait for a few minutes.

Step 11: ‘Document Converted Successfully’ message will pop up once the conversion is completed. Click on Open to view the resultant converted files.

Step 12: The tool will redirect you to the folder where converted files (PDFs) are saved.
