Location: USAThe franchisee had multiple PST files containing twenty years of emails from their various LLCs and business lines, retained for legal liabilities. Most of the PST files had grown beyond the 50 GB size limit, while one additional 30 GB PST file was also experiencing search issues, resulting in failed Outlook searches and problems with native Microsoft tool.
Kernel Outlook PST Repair was used to split the oversized PST files into smaller and more manageable files while simultaneously repairing them. The tool took about a week to completely process the oversized PST files.
With the repaired and split PST files, the customer was able to reindex the mailboxes and restore Outlook's search functionalities.
