Selected Data Migration Kernel Migration for SharePoint lets you to migrate your important data from file server to OneDrive server using advanced filters like Date filter (greater/less than, equal to), File Filter, User Filters etc. The tool allows you to migrate file server to onedrive in a single go with additional value parameters inside the filter options and proper scheduling.
Bulk Migration The tool provides two types of migration options – simple migration and bulk migration. Use the simple migration option when you want to migrate file system data to a personal storage account of OneDrive for Business server. Bulk migration is ideal for migrating to all or some selected user accounts of OneDrive for the Business server.
Scheduler You can either execute a job at the time of creation or schedule it to best utilize the idle resources. The tool allows to schedule the migration job on daily/weekly/monthly basis for the assigned hours. The migration from file server to onedrive starts and stops the migration job at the time specified. So, you can migrate file server to onedrive at an unproductive time.
Copy & Paste of Files and Folder Simply copy the files or folders that you want to migrate from the source server and paste it to the desired folder on the destination server. You can choose the desired migration type and apply filters, migrate permissions, remap users/groups according to your migration preferences.
Migration using CSV Migration using CSV option is a handy option when you want to migrate file server to onedrive account entirely in a single go. You can place all the content of source server into a CSV file and then migrate the bulk data concurrently to the destination server.
View Job History View the complete history of the migration job using View Jobs function. This allows you to track the migration state of files/folders that are being migrated. It shows complete description of the migration job – including its start time, end time, duration, status (success/failure) etc.
