Once you have selected the physical device to recover, you have to make choice between ‘ Advance Scan ' and ‘ Standard Scan ' it depends on the following:
Standard Scan
Select this scan type if :
You have recently deleted the data accidentally.
You got message like Drive Not Formatted or Drive Not Ready.
If the disk is showing bad sector(s) or you are getting message like Sector not found.
If you have deleted the partition(s) using fdisk command or computer management.
Advance Scan
Select this scan type if :
Standard Scan fails to recover the desired data.
If you have formatted a drive.
If you have deleted the partition table and Standard Scan is not able to recover the data files.
To recover the lost file(s) or folder(s) that you have deleted long time ago.
