The Standard Mode is best suited for major corrupted files but in some complex cases the recovered data can be raw and had to be organized again in the file.
The Standard mode follows a three step procedure to recover the corrupt presentation files:
Click the Browse... button to locate the PowerPoint presentation file from your computer system. The following screen will be displayed:
Select the corrupted presentation file and click Open.
Step 3:
Click the Recover button to proceed with the process.
The Kernel PowerPoint recovery will ask you for the location of the recovered file to be saved.
Step 4:
Select the desired location and click OK.
Step 5:
Kernel PowerPoint displays the screen to select the mode of recovery for the recovery of corrupted presentations.
Select the Standard Mode and click OK.
The software will now start the process of recovery.
Step 6:
1. Kernel PowerPoint Recovery will now extract and initialize the images.
After the initializing process, the software will search for the images.
The process of searching slides will now begin.
The software will display the found slides:
Select the appropriate Master Slide of which the contents are to be recovered and click OK.
Important: There can be multiple Master slides in a single presentation file. We suggest you to carefully select the Master Slide for the recovery of data. The results may vary according to the Master Slide selected.
2. The software will now start recovering text data of the selected Master Slide.
The first pane displays the recovered text in the slide.
3. The software will now recover the objects.
After recovering data of the selected slide, Nucleus Kernel PowerPoint will confirm the saving process.
The Progress Log displays the recovery procedure and the number of slides which gets recovered. If you want to stop the process in between then click Stop button. The software will abort the process and will save the recovered data before clicking the stop button.

Step 7:
You can now view the recovered files from the saved location or by clicking path of the location of Rec folder displayed in the message box. The software by default creates a Rec folder at the selected location and saves data in the respective folder.
Click OK.
Kernel PowerPoint Recovery saves the recovered data in three files: Text, Pictures and the Slide. The following screen displays how the recovered data is saved:
The corrupt PowerPoint presentation file is recovered successfully.
Important: The Demo version of the Nucleus Kernel PowerPoint Recovery software enables you to view the recovered data but does not saves it whereas Full version of the software saves the recovered data.
