Before you begin the recovery procedure, you should make sure you have addressed every item on this checklist:
Check that you have enough free space on the Hard disk. Remember, you may need more free space to copy the repaired files. If you don't have enough free space, you may need to use a different Good Device. You should review the pre-installation checklist for more details about what you should consider when checking your available memory.
Close all other applications. This will ensure that system resources won't be diverted to other programs during the repairing procedure.
Ensure that you have the same office version installed on your computer system of which the presentation file has to be repaired. For example, if you want to repair the presentation file of 2000 then office 2000 should be installed on the computer.
