how to create batch file?

Kernel Batch file is a medium through which you can easily list and convert unlimited GroupWise user mailboxes at once. Create one Kernel batch file and store records of unlimited GroupWise user mailbox accounts. Creation of batch file eases the task of defining saving location and saving mode of saving the converted mailboxes in PST or Exchange Server.

Step 1: Launch Kernel for Novell GroupWise to Exchange-Migration File Creator software. Main window of the Kernel software appears:  

Step 2: Select the Add Record option from the File menu or Click the Add Record button from the tool bar. The GroupWise Information window gets displayed :

GroupWise Information Window Description -

GroupWise Login Details Section Description:

User Id	Type the name of the user mailbox which you want to migrate
Password	Type the password of the user mailbox
Online	Select this radio button to connect to the GroupWise user mailbox in online mode. Type the IP Address and port number to access the GroupWise mailbox in online mode. ( Know more....)
Caching Mailbox Path	Select Caching mailbox path from the ... button ( Know more....)
Remote Mailbox Path	Select Remote mailbox path from the ... button ( Know more....)
Command-Line	Define Command Line to access the GroupWise.exe ( Know more...)

 

Note: Select any of the mode ( Online, Caching, Remote, Command Line) to get access to the GroupWise user mailbox.

 

Advance Details Section Description:  

User Name	Type the user name of the computer system where Novell GroupWise Client is installed
Password	Type the password of the computer where the Groupwise client is installed
Computer Name/IP	Type the computer name and IP address of the computer system where the Novell GroupWise client is installed

Step 3 : Click Next button to proceed further. The Outlook/Exchange Information window gets displayed :

Save in PST:

PST Folder Path	Select the destination location on your drive to save the converted mailbox in PST file through the ... button
PST File Name	Define the PST file name

 

Save in Exchange Server:  

 

Exchange Server Name	Type the name of Exchange Server to which you want to migrate the GroupWise user mailbox
Exchange Mailbox	Type the name of the Exchange Server User Mailbox where you want to save the converted items of Groupwise User Mailbox
Password	Type the password of the Exchange User Mailbox
Domain	Type the Domain in which MS Exchange Server User Mailbox exists

 

Select any of the saving option and provide the details of the respective selected saving option.  

Step 4: Click Finish button to continue. All the created records of the GroupWise User Mailboxes gets listed in the Kernel software:

Note : You can edit the GroupWise User Mailbox details from the left pane of the window i.e. the Record Details section in the Kernel software.

Step 5: Click the Save button from the tool bar to save the batch file or click the Save As button to select and save disk saving location of the file on your computer system.

 

Kernel for Novell GroupWise to Exchange-Migration File Creator software by creates NucleusMigrationFile.nucon file which is the Kernel batch file for multiple mailbox conversion.
