This section works only with corrupted files and allows you to repairing of those corrupted file(s). Nucleus Kernel DBF –File Repair Software allows you to repair corrupted FoxPro Database files corrupted due to virus attacks, unexpected system shutdown etc
Steps to be followed to repair the corrupted files
In Windows, Click Start > All Programs > Nucleus Kernel DBF > Nucleus Kernel DBF . The Nucleus Kernel DBF main window appears:
Click Add Files button from toolbar or click file menu , choose add file to add corrupted files in the list, then it will display following screen:
Click Open to add the selected files in the list of file(s) to be repaired or click Cancel to abort the situation.
After selecting the corrupted files, it will display the following screen:
If you added unwanted or uncorrupted files, then you can also remove those file(s) by using remove all file buttonand remove selected file button.
Select the file(s) that you want to repair and click next buttonor click Repair Files Button from the toolbar, then it displays following screen:
From the above figure, choose the repair mode. Select the radio button ( Normal repair Mode or Advanced Repair mode ), then click OK to start the repairing process or click Cancel to abort the situation. The default Mode of repairing will be Normal Repair Mode.
Note: Selection of repair modes depends upon the version of DBF database file.
After selecting the files to be repaired , Nucleus Kernel DBF - File Repair Software begins its repairing process and will show the details of the corrupted file.
Nucleus Kernel DBF– File Repair Software allows you to see the preview of the repaired files. After Nucleus Kernel DBF completes its repairing process, click Next Button to see the preview for the selected repaired file, it displays the following Screen:
Click Save Files button on the tool bar for saving or copying the recovered files. To Know more about Saving use theSAVING OF FILES.
